The EMEA Director of Sales Diagnostic Division is responsible for identifying, executing and developing effective key account management commercial plans with EMEA pharmaceutical companies to steer the sales of Promonitor ®.
The essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Effectively utilizing and directing internal resources to communicate, deliver, and reinforce Grifols value proposition to the customer.
Effectively collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Head of Technical Services, Scientific and Medical Affairs to ensure that all stake holders are aware with the sales and local execution of Promonitor® activities.
Effectively developing an annual budget and participate in the strategic planning process.
Establishing an effective sales strategy and tactics in partnership with the global director and regional sales teams utilizing competitive intelligence, personal experience, and internal competitive knowledge from broader organization.
Aligning the KAM activities with the regional sales team activities to drive towards a common goal
Key interfaces include: Grifols Diagnostic Executive Team, Regional Diagnostic and Bioscience Sales organizations and other regional / global functions.
Driving top-line sales and profitability performance for the Promonitor® product and service lines through effective key account management in coordination with the regional and country level Promonitor® Sales teams.
Effective using and monitoring of all travel and expenses.
To perform this job successfully, EMEA Director of Sales Diagnostic Division must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor degree or equivalent required
Extensive sales and sales leadership experience (8+ years), ideally garnered in local as well as international roles
Outstanding leadership ability, including ability to motivate associates with different backgrounds and skill levels
Outstanding sales acumen and business aptitude
Outstanding level of drive, and the ability to juggle multiple projects effectively
Excellent communication skills
Excellent influencing ability
Advanced level of English + other European languages.
The position will be based in one of the major EU cities such as Paris, Milan, London, Barcelona, etc. and available for significant (+50%) international travel.
