Grifols USA Hospital Division provides advanced solutions and cutting-edge technologies to enhance safety and efficiency in the hospital pharmacy. Our products are uniquely designed to improve institutional compliance with guidelines and regulations, while operating under high standards for quality and safety for both the pharmacy staff and the patients served. Our i.v.TOOLs® services & specialized products optimize safety and efficacy throughout the drug compounding process.
The Pharmacy Solutions Specialist will promote, sell, and support Hospital Division products to hospitals and cancer centers in a designated geographic area. Interface with customers to maintain, increase and introduce new products in the assigned area. Will perform product presentations, product demonstrations and after sales education of the customer on product/system use.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Development of area business plan with objective to meet or exceed sales goals established by sales management.
Meet with Key Pharmacy staff at hospitals and cancer centers and Key staff members of Administration, Materials Management, Facilities, Engineering and Nursing.
Consistently improve working knowledge of the compounding pharmacy, our product applications and competitive products.
Provide accurate reporting to sales management via activity reports, planned agendas, account information via salesforce.com and updated area business plans.
Provide market information to internal marketing staff including competitive information, market trends, and customer special requests.
Achieve or exceed sales goals established by sales management.
Assist technical service with product installations and training where requested.
Provide customer training on all products and complete user surveys for IMS/IDS products and questionnaires for Misterium projects.
Work with Grifols Engineering, Grifols Technical Service and Grifols Customer Service to satisfy customer requests for product and information.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS & EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Must live in the territory which includes: Atlanta, Georgia.
Minimum 3 years sales experience calling on the hospital or cancer center pharmacies.
Bachelor’s degree required. Concentration in science or healthcare field is strongly preferred; advanced degree preferred.
Valid driver’s license.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks/priorities.
Documented consistent above-average performance in prior sales position.
Ability to lift /move up to 25 pounds.
Ability to stand for extended periods - up to four (4) hours at a time.
Manual dexterity to perform all job functions.
