Position summary

The Sales & Marketing Training Manager will be responsible for all aspects of raining related to Bioscience and Hospital commercial divisions at Grifols. This position is an important and strategic role for our organization, leading the team to design, create, and deliver training content to enhance sales and marketing contributions to margins. The Sales & Marketing Training Manager will communicate with sales and marketing, medical affairs, compliance and other commercial partners or distributors to create and deliver quality training, coaching, and providing direction to a diverse group of teams.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will focus on:

  • Leading and Managing people.

  • Managing expenses and the annual budget, forecasting of same and managing vendors.

  • Be knowledgeable about the current trends in the pharmaceutical industry, marketplace, competition and brand strategy.

  • Managing programs, including live and remote facilitation and logistics.

  • Coaching, mentoring members of the team, and addressing personnel issues.

  • Effectively partnering with all internal Grifols Divisions to ensure training meets the needs of the organization.

  • Preparing sales organization to be able to drive revenue by promoting company's products to health care providers in a compliant manner.

  • Building training based on strategic priorities, as well as the ongoing needs of the Commercial organization.

  • Analyzing and ensuring that training materials are reviewed and approved and make recommendations for improvements.

  • Fostering a learning environment that focuses on adult learning principles.

  • Collaborating with HR team ensuring continuous learning.

  • Managing Projects and Resources ensuring Vendors meet timelines and deliver appropriate materials.


To be successful in this role you must prove to have:

  • 2-3 years of experience in leading and managing team. Effective leadership and people management skills; experience in motivating others.

  • 4-5 years of experience in commercial organizations with 2-3 years pharmaceutical or medical sales training experience, creating new sales training content, inclusive e-learning and understanding of adult Learning.

  • Experience with training and e-learning technologies.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment across geography, departments and all levels of the organization

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Proven problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical markets

  • International mindset.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or similar;

  • Spanish and English: fluent. Any other European language would be consider a plus

  • Some Travel required.

  • Position based in Sant Cugat (Barcelona).
