Responsible for performing material handling functions to support all internal and external customers in an accurate and timely manner. These functions include, but are not limited to, receiving and stocking of temperature sensitive finished goods and shipping supplies, processing sales orders, picking/packing, stock issuance, inventory reconciliation, general housekeeping, and maintaining accurate logistics records in a GMP-regulated environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Load / unload and inspect trucks and trailers and complete shipping documentation (e.g. Bill of Lading).
Stack / load pallets and transport material by operating various types of material handling equipment (e.g. forklift, electric pallet jack).
Sort and stock materials, perform product identification and damage inspection.
Perform receiving and stocking activities, as well as issuing and transfer of materials to designated internal and external locations.
Maintain accurate and complete inventory of released finished goods in the Distribution storage areas.
Access the order queue generated by Customer Service, print packing lists and pick ordered products for packing and shipment.
Verify product picked against respective packing list to ensure order completeness prior to packing.
Neatly and securely pack product(s), coolant and temperature recorders in specified shipping container(s) per departmental procedures.
Research, reconcile and correct inventory discrepancies.
Conduct scheduled cycle counts and physical inventories.
Work with cross-functional teams in handling and resolving customer disputes, returns, or non-conforming material issues.
Perform routine housekeeping duties in all warehouses and work areas in compliance with departmental procedures and GMP requirements.
Maintain current logs in an accurate and legible manner (e.g. housekeeping log, forklift checklist, etc.) in accordance with departmental procedures.
Strict adherence to procedures and practices according to FDA regulations.
Strong emphasis on documentation according to FDA regulations.
Adhere to departmental corporate safety policies.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS & EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree, applicable certification, and/or military veterans preferred.
Related warehouse, inventory control and distribution experience in a pharmaceutical, GMP, or FDA regulated environment is preferred.
Requires a basic understanding of material handling, warehousing and inventory control.
Forklift experience (stand up or sit down) in a warehouse environment is preferred.
Must be proactive, results oriented, and have strong attention to detail.
Self-starter with strong work ethic and the ability to exercise good judgment.
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet targeted deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with personnel at all levels in a team environment.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Specific experience with SAP inventory control is preferred.
Must be flexible with working hours / shifts in order to accommodate the 24 hour, 7 day plant operation.
Ability to lift /move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for extended periods - up to four (4) hours at a time.
Manual dexterity to perform all job functions.
Exposure to toxic/caustic chemicals and biological hazards.
Must be able to work in cold environments.
