Immunology Hospital Specialty Sales Representative
The Hospital Sales Representative (HSR) – Immunology will be responsible for managing the business within a specific geographical territory: all of Delaware and Southern half of New Jersey.
The HSR-Immunology will report directly to a Regional Sales Director.
This individual will be responsible for detailing the following customers within the hospital setting: Hospital Pharmacies, Neuromuscular Specialists, Neurologists, Immunologists, Emergency Department Physicians, Pharmacy and Nursing staff.
HSR will sell and promote Grifols’ IVIG products, Hyper-Immune products, and Albumin to exceed financial objectives within their territory.
Exact amount of travel required is based on territory size and customer locations.
This person will execute on the National sales and marketing strategy and create a territory business tactical plan to maximize opportunity. Will work in partnership with home office personnel, the Brand team and the National and Corporate account teams for pull-through of product sales.
HSR will be responsible for running the business by analyzing account and physician sales data and creating territory tactical plans and providing solutions to grow the business.
HSR will use Microsoft applications as well as Grifols' customer management system and be required to enter call data.
Candidate will manage a defined territory travel/expense budget moving toward P/L.
Will maintain Company and Industry Compliance Rules.
Must live in territory.
Bachelor’s degree is required, with concentration in life sciences or healthcare field preferred; advanced degree preferred.
Requires at least 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare or medical sales, marketing and/or sales management.
HSR - Immunology must possess in-depth knowledge of the medical industry (Specialty Pharmacy, Home Health, Managed Care, Biologics/Biotech, Pharmaceutical and/or Hospital).
Immunology experience preferred.
Display consistent above average performance.
Display an “achieves” level for the competencies required in the position.
Must be organized and be able to manage multiple tasks/priorities.
A valid driver’s license.

Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Frequently sits for 4-6 hours per day. Frequent hand movement of one hand with the ability to make fast, simple, movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Frequently walks. Occasionally bends and twists neck. Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 35lbs. Frequently drives to site locations and travels within the United States. Able to communicate complex information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Frequently interacts with others, relates sensitive information to diverse groups. Ability to apply abstract principles to solve complex conceptual issues. Performs a wide range of complex tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence. Plans work assignments to meet objectives.
