Position Summary:

The Senior T&E Specialist is responsible for providing administrative support, timely processing and auditing of Travel & Expense reimbursement requests submitted via Concur for North American employees. Will also provide guidance to employees on company policies for travel and expense related matters, as well as management of the Concur expense system. The Travel & Expense Specialist will be part of the North America Finance Shared Service Center organization based in Los Angeles, California.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process and audit expense report reimbursements for employees according to company policy and procedures while consistently meeting Service Level Agreements.

  • Process and audit PCard transactions in accordance to company policy and procedures.

  • Provide guidance to employees regarding adherence to company policy and procedures.

  • Lead Month-End accrual activities.

  • Answer telephone calls and emails to assist internal customers with expense report questions for system issues or compliance requirements.

  • Act as a central point of contact for all T&E and Concur system related issues and provide support for PCard issuances falling under Expense Management’s responsibilities.

  • Provide excellent customer service, communication, decision making and support to all employees at all levels.

  • Assist in the development and monitoring of the audit rules and procedures in compliance with the company policy.

  • Work with the Concur Expense Report auditing for internal compliance.

  • Sustain and update training on expense reporting policies, standards, tutorials and system enhancements.

  • Perform ad-hoc project requests and additional duties when assigned.

  • Assist with the development, and participate in, trainings.

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Emphasis in Accounting, Finance, or closely related discipline is preferred.

  • Minimum of 4 years of related accounting, accounts payable, travel & expense or finance experience is required.

  • Experience leading teams

  • Solidunderstanding of accrual accounting concepts and month end process.

  • Proficient in Excel – i.e. knowledge of pivot tables, look-ups, etc.

  • Experience utilizing Concur required, SAP desirable.

  • Well organized to manage high volume and diverse work activities, including ability to re-prioritize with changing business demands.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Works well with others and is a team player.

  • Takes responsibility of assigned tasks and is proactive.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Lead identification of continuous improvement opportunities to optimize team’s performance.

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.

  • Ability to anticipate needs and assist/backup others in department as needed and other duties and projects as assigned.

  • Contagious enthusiasm, positive approach to problem solving and excellent customer service.
