This position is responsible for receiving and stocking supplies and maintaining the daily upkeep of the facility. This position requires approval of the Director, Human Resources in writing prior to hiring. This position requires Regional Quality Assurance Manager Approval for training purposes.



  • Receives and stocks supplies and softgoods.

  • Performs general clean up of all areas of the building, as directed.

  • Manages routine upkeep of exterior areas and parking lot.

  • Completes non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders.

  • Removes garbage and disposes into dumpster.

  • Cleans sinks, toilets and replenishes restroom supplies.

  • Maintains cleanliness of refrigerator/freezer in break room area.

  • Interacts internally with Center Management at Source Plasma Centers

  • Performs all other duties as required/assigned.


  • High school diploma, or equivalent, required.

  • One year of college, technical school, or Associate’s degree preferred.

  • Education and/or experience in a medical field preferred.

  • Must have excellent organization and follow-up skills.

  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze situations in a timely manner.

  • Must have ability to organize and prioritize work assignments.

  • Must have ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must have ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within The Interstate Companies and provide excellent customer service.


  • Typical work environment with moderate noise level.

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop or crouch, hand/wrist use, talk, see, and hear for extended periods of time. Examples include, but are not limited to:


Typical Duties


Receives and stocks supplies and softgoods; moves supplies/stacks boxes; sweeps floors and parking lot


Removes supplies from shelves; climbs stairs; uses ladder to replace fixtures and remove dust from TV’s and air vents


Stocks supplies, cleans sinks, toilets and floors, etc; disposes waste into dumpster


Receives supplies; performs routine cleaning of various objects throughout center


Walks through center performing routine job duties, i.e. cleaning, collecting trash from inside building and transports to outside dumpster; cleans parking lot

Hand/Wrist Use

Sweeps, mops, moves supplies and softgoods, cleans fixtures, records completion of tasks performed

Observing/Seeing color

Observes areas for cleanliness, performs inventory for stocking supplies



Time Management




  • Ability to work with toxic or caustic chemicals 20 - 30 % of the time.

  • Have exposure to outdoor weather conditions (shoveling or salting in the case of snowy weather).

  • Ability to read and understand documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, correspondence.

  • Ability to write short correspondence.

  • Ability to speak, answer questions, and/or present information in small groups of customers, suppliers, or employees of the company.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to perform mathematical operations using units of US dollars, weight measurement, volume, and distance.

  • Ability to read a calendar, calculate and understand deferral periods, and calculate sample periods.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.

  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few variables in routine situations.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

  • Daily attendance is required.

  • Travel is negligible.
