Become the brand expert in all channels of business. This role will be the brand champion for the business and lead the further defining of the brand as well as creating, refining and maintaining brand guidelines, brand training, and brand governance. The scope of the role includes brand strategy, storytelling, evangelization and protecting the brand. Act as a brand advocate, providing thought-leadership, inspiration, and best practices that contribute to the success of the brand across all channels for the US plasma business
Identify marketplace brand insights and implications in collaboration with Creative team, Business Intelligence and Business Units.
Support the delivery of claims and evidence-based messaging through strong collaboration with internal partners for customer facing messaging.
Partner with Corporate and Business Units to build message hierarchy, brand messaging, integrated communications plans, key assets, and global toolkits that best resonate with target audiences.
Support health of business analysis and reporting, results tracking, lessons learned and continuous improvement assessments along with the Business Intelligence team.
Anticipate customer shifts and align messaging and brand as needed.
Experience with building a brand, developing brand training, and successful brand launch, ideally in a retail, hospitality, or similar industry that included field training.
Work collaboratively with creative team to brief, review and refine creative work to align with strategic objectives.
Ensure agency partners are aligned on the brand guidelines and voice in all deliverables.
Enhance the brand by being aware and analyzing industry and competitor trends, consumer insights and data.
Build out brand training, brand center, and governance to create brand consistency throughout the business. Consult across the business as the lead of strategy, messaging, and execution.
Represent and champion the brand to leadership as needed.
Design and monitor business performance goals to drive brand awareness.
Develop proactive and reactive competitive responses and action plans through to asset delivery.
Assist with the development of annual strategic marketing plans.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field required. English professional proficiency (fluency in Spanish is a plus).
- Minimum of 5+ years experience managing and developing a strong brand and brand guidelines. Minimum of 7+ years of experience in marketing, promotions or related work. Experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical environment a plus.
- Depending on the area of assignment, directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the stated requirements. Example: If a job level requires a Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of experience, an equivalency could include 8 years of experience, an Associate’s degree with 6 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 2 years of experience.
