Provide and/or assist with the development of successful, plasma specific marketing strategies to Business Expansion partner organizations to meet organizational objectives. Provide effective support and/or management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of 3rd party organizations through knowledge and experience. Act as a liaison between Marketing, Business Expansion, and 3rd party partner organizations, to ensure brand, strategies, and marketing concepts are available to partner organizations to drive collection success. Support and establish in conjunction with partners, plasma donor recruitment, retention and recapture activities and strategies developed by both Corporate Marketing and partner organizations. These activities may be done in conjunction with a partner organization therefore requiring the ability to interact and understand challenges brought forth by different social and organizational cultures while recognizing cultural differences that may impact the marketing function.
Support and drive development and execution of marketing strategies within Business Expansion projects to meet new donor recruitment and donor retention/recapture objectives.
Support, manage and coordinate marketing, advertising and promotional activities, including execution of corporate campaigns throughout Business Expansion projects.
Partner with Divisional Marketing Managers to share best practices to develop and expand Business Expansion partner marketing programs
Conduct and/or support market analysis to inform existing and future marketing strategies and tactics, measure effectiveness of programs
Allocate Business Expansion marketing budget across projects, with full accountability to report results, deliver programs on budget
Analyze donor panel behavior and trends drawing conclusions for marketing planning purposes
Support and/or manage the development and implementation of marketing plans, activities and projects with Business Expansion partners
Liaise with cross functional teams and function as extension of marketing department for Business Expansion department.
Work closely with creative departments, both internally, and externally, to ensure communications are aligned with organization goals and Grifols standards where appropriate
Support and/or manage the production of the marketing plans and projects and develop reporting metrics measuring effectiveness
Conduct training on tools and new programs in the field as needed
Create and deliver marketing presentations
Monitor industry best practices and competitive activity
Liaise with media and advertising vendors, as required
Contributor to Marketing Department organization campaigns and activities as well as provide recommendations related to field experience
Develops and/or supports donor base management tools including market intelligence, donor demographics, segmentation, advertising and promotion, and educational tools to attract and develop donor base
Provide routine and ad hoc reports to senior leadership to keep them abreast of all department marketing efforts.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
B.S. in Marketing, Communication or Business
Typically requires 5-7 years of related experience.
Prior experience in marketing strategies and execution. Plasma or blood collection experience preferred. Candidate should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, excellent verbal and written communications skills, ability to analyze and prepare data for presentation purposes, organization and planning competency, strategic thinking, problem analysis and problem-solving, interpersonal skills, decisive, adaptive and the ability to use good judgement. Ability to travel both internationally and domestically up to 75%. Ability to work with and around people of diverse cultures and education levels. Ability to work independently. Demonstrate effective distance management skills with various individuals and organizations.
Collaborates with colleagues and cross-functional groups oftentimes with different organizations on projects and strategies to reach operational targets. Other duties as assigned.
Occupational Demands Form # 9: Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Frequently sits for 6-8 hours per day. Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Occasionally walks and stands. Occasionally bends and twists neck. Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 25lbs. Frequently drives to site locations with occasional travel within the United States.
