The Group Product Manager (Grifols International, Diagnostics Division) is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic marketing plan for the Blood Collection Systems portfolio. This plan is aligned with the overall diagnostics strategic business plan, in order to achieve division growth objectives.
He/she will report to the Diagnostics President of Marketing and will have a broad international scope of products in the Blood Collection Systems field, with the objective to meet global strategies with local / regional specifities, where the life cycle of the products will vary between regional territories, with different commercialization strategies.
Overall responsibility to develop Blood Collection Systems Porfolio strategy:
Define Product Line Strategic Marketing Plan and drive its achievement.
Ensure that the Blood Collection Solutions Strategic Marketing Plan is aligned with the overall Diagnostic Global Marketing Strategy.
Identify new business opportunities for the growth of the product line.
Attend strategic congresses in order to monitor market trends, and to interact with current and potential customers.
Develop through Medical Affairs ongoing liaison with key opinion leaders, patient support groups and other healthcare organizations to ensure that significant developments in the field are identified and monitored.
Along with Medical Affairs, develop a medical/scientific strategy for the portfolio.
Develop and train on the use of sales tools and promotional material.
Plan, execute and supervise commercial product launches.
Tracking and monitoring of market dynamics and competitive landscape.
Develop and manage marketing expenses budget for the product line:
Prepare the proposal of the marketing expenses budget for each year.
Monthly follow up on the expenses.
Assignment of the budget allocation for each activity planned.
Develop the long range financial plan for the product line, based on market trends, new product launches and the competitive landscape.
Manage the Blood Collections Systems (BCS) marketing team:
Provide leadership to the BCS Global Marketing team giving to ensure each member is performing to their professional potential.
Identify associates with the appropriate skill sets to manage the business and to enhance the overall global marketing team performance.
Serves as a role model for being a team player, within the global marketing department.
Coaches associates for professional development.
Ensure alignment between the global marketing strategy and regional marketing and other internal or external stakeholders:
Provide strategic direction and messaging for tradeshows and conference related.
Provide to the R&D / product development team with Customer Requirements Documents for new products or improvements based on Voice of the customer process.
Facilitate Blood Collection Systems governance committee and assure that decisions taken are implemented.
Responsible for project team effectiveness and alignment with R & D/manufacturing for blood collection systems. product pipeline.
Lead and provide direction for regulatory prioritization, according to global marketing strategy.
Lead Long Range Plan development process and actively participate in the sales budget process for Blood Collection Systems.
Fluent in English (C1 / Advanced Level).
Sound knowledge (+5 years of experience) in Blood Collection Systems from a sales or marketing perspective.
