YOUR TASK AND RESPONSABILITIES
Based in Barcelona (in our HQ in Sant Cugat offices) and reporting to the Intercontinental Marketing Director Immunology & Neurology (IBAM, MEAA & Far East) the Marketing Manager Immunology & Neurology ensures the effective marketing of assigned existing product portfolio by contributing to develop and execute marketing strategy and plans to attain sales and profit targets. Leads oversight of product launches, established product growth, lifecycle management of products and provides support to the commercial teams in the assigned countries. Ensures that the Compliance Integrity Agreement is followed.
The Marketing Manager Immunology & Neurology -MEA & Far East- directs, plans and formulates product promotion plans, budgets, programs and objectives for plasma products, participates in the preparation of plasma sales forecast for use in accurately estimating product requirements and inventory control.
Recommends new product development, product improvement, or product deletions based on plasma products and market performance.
Ensures Compliance Integrity Agreement is followed.
Directs the development and dissemination of information about the plasma product group and provides basic policy, standards and guidelines for communication of such information in MEAA and Far East market areas.
Achieves on or above budget performance by monitoring performance against the budget in marketing area.
Ensures the development of effective marketing strategies and programs by providing analytical and strategic leadership. Provides clarification of marketing strategy and ensure others' buy-in and understanding. Recommends marketing procedures to maintain product profitability.
Communicates regularly with other departments to get customer feedback about how the Intercontinental Marketing group can better serve their needs and still yield mutual success. Continuously reinforces the importance of focusing on understanding and meeting external customer needs as the foundation of maintaining competitiveness as an organization.
Ensures alignment of all efforts with the broader strategic direction of Grifols Healthcare, Global Marketing (where appropriate).
Coordinates MEAA & Far East tactical plans, stimulates creativity for promotion of product group, and recommends packaging and product changes to create maximum sales and distribution of plasma product groups.
Directs the development, adaptation and delivery of marketing materials and programs. Directs the development of advertising and promotional activities of the outside agencies and services involved in developing and implementing assigned product group advertising and promotional products. Directs activities, preparation, planning and implementation of conventions, conferences in order to assist the promotion of Grifols Healthcare, its image and its Plasma products.
Contributes to the introduction of successful new products by maintaining continuous communication with Global Marketing and Medical Affairs by communicating needs of the MEAA & Far East marketplace in the development process. Understands market trends and assures the formation of strong promotional alliances to optimize the plasma products broad marketing impact.
Evaluates new lead candidates for plasma products for development for commercial potential for assigned product group and markets; oversees the project management of the product development phase. Develops metrics for success, sharing best practice information across regions.
WHO YOU ARE
Your educational background is a Bachelor's degree in Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, or related fields).
Master's degree in Marketing/Bussines is an added value
You have a minimum of 5 years of related marketing experience. *Access & reimbursement experience will be valued.
You enjoy working within a multicultural environment, and you have previous experience in a global role with a strong international exposure.
You have strong knowledge of sales and marketing within the Pharma industry (Intensive care experience will be valued).
Proficency in English is mandatory (C1+ or C2)
Availability to travel (15%) to MEAA & Far East territories.
