The Manager, Global Sales Training establishes and leads comprehensive training programs for the entire portfolio of Grifols Diagnostics Products and skills. Specific emphasis will be on supporting sales people to adapt the sales process’s used by the Diagnostic Division.

What your responsibilities will be:

The Global Sales Training team for Diagnostic is conducting Sales& Marketing trainings on all Diagnostic products, conduct Skills training for all commercial people, Support the integration of SFDC and develop online supporting material for all commercial people Globally.

  • Developes and delivers high quality sales training programs to global sales associates.

  • Responsible for developing or adapting sales training programs to facilitate sales people to adapt sales proces’s including CRM.

  • Creates all sales programs using the Miller Heiman framework.

  • Establishes learning objectives and measures performance to goal upon the completion of training and at established service / performance milestones.

  • Delivers dynamic, engaging and culturally appropriate sales training programs to associates globally to meet learning objectives.

  • Incorporates product, competitive knowledge and situational role playing into all training programs.

  • Develops materials for self guided and distance learning to be accomplished without the need for in person instruction.

  • Participates in the development of on-line training programs using Grifols Campus learning program.

  • Provides support for local training activities

  • Collaborates closely with the commercial regions to increase the competencies of commercial staff. This may be through direct ride alongs, mentoring sales associates or by working with 3rd party organizations to deliver customize sales training programs to meet the development needs of sales associates.

  • Develops assessment tools

  • Delivers programs to associates from different countries/cultures, must adapt teaching style to culture where necessary.

  • Leads other global marketing intitiatives as requested by management.

  • Makes recommendation for process enhancements within sales training team, and also within more broad global marketing organization.

Who you are:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Spanish and English (Fluent), other languages desirable

  • B.S./ B.A. required, MBA or technical advanced degree desirable

  • Diagnostics sales experience required

  • 4- 8+ years experience in sales training preferably using the Miller-Heiman

  • 8+ years experience in direct sales with successful track record of selling to executive level within complex organizations

  • Experience in is desirable

  • Experience in working in Sales Effectiveness is desirable

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to work well within a team as well as independently.

  • Ability to manage customers, agencies, suppliers and budgets.

  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally.Approx 25-30 days per year
